This area of the website will list local and national scholarships with their deadlines and application materials. These will be scholarships that come through the Madison Guidance Office. In addition, students are encouraged to sign up for a free scholarship search through Fast Web, the link follows. Check this area often as any new scholarships that come in will be listed here.

Scholarship Name: BURGER KING Scholars Program
Description: Each year, Burger King awards scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $50,000 to deserving high school seniors planning to attend college. Applicants must have at least a 85 overall average and me active in their school, community and/or have work experience.

Scholarship Name: GE Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program
Description: This program honors America's foremost young leaders who demonstrate the leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship exhibited by President Ronald Reagan. Applicants need to have demonstrated academic excellence with an overall average of at least an 87.

Scholarship Name: Foot Locker Scholar Athletes
Description: Foot Locker will award 20 $20,000 scholarships. These scholarships honor student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic ability and strong leadership skills in sports, in their schools, and within their communities. Description: The Empire Potato Grower's provide a scholarship to a New York state senior for $500 per year for up to 4 consecutive years to a student planning to enter a college study benefiting the agriculture industry. Scholarship Name: Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship
Description: The foundation awards 35-40 scholarships nationally ranging from $500 to $5,000 to seniors planning careers in government service. Students submit an essay stating why he or she plans a career in government service including any inspiration to be derived from the leadership of George Washington in his famous crossing of the Delaware.

Description: Taco Bell Foundation awards multiple scholarships to high school seniors who are passionate about creating a better future and making a positive impact on their community. This scholarship is not needs or achievement based; it is a passion-based scholarship program.

Scholarship Name: Union Plus Scholarship Program
Description: Multiple scholarships are awarded between $500 and $4,000. To be eligible, applicants must have a parent who is a current or retired member of a union participating in any Union Plus program.

Scholarship Name: Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarships
Description: The Vegetarian Resource Group offers 1 $10,000 scholarship and 2 $5,000 scholarships to seniors who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. Applicants will be judged on having shown compassion, courage and a strong commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle.
