Members of the MCS family partnered with friends from our community to spruce up the cemetery this weekend!
Our small, but mighty group of volunteers spread soil to level off low areas of the property, and prepare for the addition of hay and grass seed to keep those areas looking green in the future. Members of the group also cleaned up a few gravestones along the way!
Our volunteers included:
Xavier Jones, Madison FFA President
Megan Barnes, MCS Science Teacher and Gravestone Cleaner Extraordinaire
Jason Mitchell, Superintendent of Schools
Glenn Osterhout, former MCS Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor
David Lollman, President of the Madison Village Cemetery Association
Congratulations to all on a job well-done!
