Need a bike? Community Bikes of Hamilton, NY may have a solution for you!
Community Bikes provides free bicycles to those who would love to have a bicycle, but may experience hardship in buying one. That bicycle can be used for school, church, or work. It can be used for transportation, for exercise, or just for fun.
Bicycles are available for children and adults of all ages and sizes who do not already own a bike, and are:
1. Residents of Madison County.
2. Eligible for Medicaid, SNAP, SSI, SSD or other cash assistance or have other demonstrated needs or special circumstances.
Community Bikes will host two bike distribution days. The first will be in Oneida on Sunday, April 30th. The second will be in Hamilton on Saturday, May 13th. Both opportunities will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Each recipient must be pre-registered, and must also be present in order to receive a bicycle.

The organization will review each application, and will make contact with the applicant to confirm eligibility and complete registration.
