The Madison Central School District has an immediate vacancy to fill on our Board of Education resulting from a Board member resignation. If you have interest in serving the school community, please see Tracey Lewis, District Clerk, in the District Office to receive a petition and questionnaire. Materials will be due to Mrs. Lewis by September 11, 2024.
The Board of Education intends to appoint the new Board member at its September 17th meeting.
The newly appointed Board member will commence duties effective September 17, 2024, and complete the 2024-25 school year. The seat will then be up for election at the annual Budget and School Board vote in May 2025. The election will determine who will serve the remainder of the term, which expires on June 30, 2026.
